T&C's

Terms & Conditions

Please read these T&C's carefully as they set out how we do things at Undō and what you are agreeing to when you do things

with us, whether joining a class, a private session, workshop or other event.

Booking classes

All classes, workshops, events and retreats are advertised and booked online on the Undō website (www.undostudio.com) and via our dedicated Undō Classfit app. All class payments must be made online at the time of booking.

If you have purchased a Class Pack or are entitled to a class discount (for example if you are an Undō Exclusive member, payment will be automatically deducted for each class by the booking software or discounted as appropriate.

Health Issues

You should take responsibility for your own health. If you have any concerns over your health or physical condition you should seek medical advice prior to undertaking any activities at Undō.

It is your responsibility to let us know about any health issues, medical conditions or injuries, (including mental health conditions) so that, if appropriate, we can take steps to accommodate you. Even though we have the very best instructors, it is a simple fact that participating in any physical activity attracts a degree of risk of injury. Undō will not be liable for any injuries sustained by participation in yoga and related activities.

You must follow the instructions of the instructor at all times but remember that you are responsible for your own safety, comfort and enjoyment. If your body is telling you that you have pain or discomfort you should not proceed with the particular practice (or relevant part of practice).

Cancellations & "Refund if Replaced"

We know that sometimes things happen and you won’t be able to make a class that you have booked. Unlike many studios, we have a “full refund if replaced” policy as our booking software helps us manage an active waiting list for each class. This means that if you cancel (using the online booking system) at any time before the class starts but you are replaced you will receive a full refund.

Even if your place in a class is not replaced but you cancel (using the online booking system) more than 24 hours before a class you will receive a full refund or, if you have a Class Pack, your Class Pack will be credited with the equivalent amount. If we are not able to fill your place in the class and you cancel within 24 hours of the class, you will not be refunded for that class.

The only exception to this is for Undō Exclusive Members who may cancel a class anytime up to 3 hours before it is due to start and still receive a full refund.

Waiting List

Demand for classes at Undō is always high so we use a sophisticated waiting list system to make sure that spaces that become available are quickly allocated to those who have joined the waiting list for that class.

If a class is full when you try to book online you can join the waiting list for that class. If a space becomes free, you will receive an automatic email to let you know that you have been automatically added to the class, subject to you confirming you can attend.

It is important that you look out for the email as, if you do not confirm, the space will be automatically offered to the next person on the waiting list after 2 hours. The time delay before the offer of a free place reduces the closer it gets to the class start time so be quick to confirm.

No-shows

We want everyone to enjoy Undō so we have a pretty tight policy when it comes to no-shows. No refunds will be provided for no-shows and we won’t accept more than two no-shows in a month.

Treatments in The Treatment Room

Bookings for treatments in The Room should be arranged directly with the relevant therapist. Individual therapists may have different cancellation policies to the general Undō approach so it is important that you discuss this directly with them when booking.

Studio Etiquette

Arriving at Undō

You should arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of any class and check in via the online booking system app.

To avoid disrupting the flow of a class when it is underway, late arrivals are not permitted but you will still be charged for the class.

In the Studio

You should arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of any class and check in via the online booking system or App.

We will provide all equipment, like mats and props, that you need in the studio. You are welcome to bring your own equipment as long as it is suitable (check with the instructor) and in good condition.

Please wipe down your mat and any props used at the end of the class, ensuring that they are clean for the next class. Please return equipment in the same condition that you would like to receive it yourself.

Instructors, Therapists and everyone using the studio should be treated respectfully. We will not tolerate any kind of verbal or physical abuse of any kind. Such behaviour will result in immediate exclusion from the studio.

With the exception of the reception area, the Undō Studio is a shoe, glass, breakables, mobile phone food and hot drink free zone.  Please leave these items behind before a class and don’t be offended if asked to do so if you accidentally forget. Also, don’t forget to retrieve your mobile phone if you have left in on charge in the charging station in reception.

Timetable

Details of class times at Undō (in the Studio or online) may vary from time to time. An up to date timetable will be published on the Undō website, App and online booking system.

Undō reserves the right to make change the timetable and/or to change, adapt or amend the yoga series offered at the Studio at its. Unplanned changes to the timetable will be notified, as far as possible, on the website, App, online booking system and social media.

Privacy and Personal Information

We take everyone’s privacy and personal very seriously and have a separate, detailed, policy that deals with this which you should also read as it is deemed to be part of these overall terms and conditions.
