Sarah is Undō's Resident Traditional Acupuncturist.  She trained at the College of Traditional Acupuncture, Leamington Spa and graduated with a BA (hons) in Traditional Acupuncture, (5 Element), in 2003.

Since graduating Sarah has set up her successful private practice where she has gained vast experience in treating a large number of differing conditions.  This enables her to offer her extended experience when she works with clients.

Traditional Acupuncture and fertility is an area that Sarah is particularly interested in. She has trained in all aspects of fertility acupuncture, pregnancy and birth with Zita West. Sarah was also a founding member of Zita West's affiliated acupuncturist scheme. 

Sarah is also a qualified Reiki practitioner treating both humans and animals. She is a qualified first aider and regularly attends post graduate training. 

Sarah's story

"I stumbled upon acupuncture by accident whilst I was pregnant with my daughter, having aggravated my back problem walking the dog.

My back had given me pain from the age of about 18 when I injured it horse riding. Sadly, I had to stop riding and give up horses because it was too painful. Riding was the love of my life.

I was advised by my pre-natal consultant to try acupuncture to relieve the pain which was increasing by this time. I was blown away by the outcome. A few needles placed in my back, which didn't feel like having an injection, and within a few hours my pain started to decrease. I continued having weekly treatments through my pregnancy and then once I had started training as an acupuncturist.

Fast forward to today..........I have a lovely grown up daughter, I am now able to ride, muck out and carry out all of the heavy stable duties.

So I came across traditional acupuncture in probably the same way as you have and it's very likely you will also have a life changing experience if you give it a try".
